1. Why Bulgaria?

2. How do I get there?


Bulgaria is very easy to reach. There are many air carrier companies that operate flights to the capital Sofia and the coastal towns of Varna and Burgas. The longest flight from a destination in Europe would take about three hours.

Traveling by bus is another option for those of you who would like to keep the costs down and see more of Europe on the way. However it is important to know that bus travel can take up to four days so it is not recommended for everyone.

After Bulgaria’s EU ascension, getting there has become even easier as visas are no longer required for citizens of the EU and Switzerland.

3. What about accommodation and transport?


As Bulgaria’s second largest city Varna is an important travel hub that provides connections to both international and domestic locations. Varna’s international Airport is among the busiest in the country.

The central bus and train stations provide easy access to all destinations in the country. 4. I’m here and I like it. How do I buy it?


We will provide all the required information on request. You may also take the opportunity of paying us a visit in our Varna office, for an escorted viewing of the property.

According to the Bulgarian law foreign individuals and judicial parties are not allowed to buy land in Bulgaria. Therefore a local company needs to be registered under the ownership of the client. There are no obligations in respect of employing local personnel or actually running any kind of activities. BB Properties can take care of all relevant procedures free of charge on your behalf so you don't need to waste your time and dig into local laws and regulations. *Please note that there are government and local taxes relative to the registration of a limited company, which amount to EUR 600.

As soon as the property is fully paid you can receive and sign final Notary Act (contract of Purchase) in front of a Bulgarian notary if you are in Bulgaria or at Bulgarian Embassy. BB Properties can sign this act on your company behalf under power of attorney previously signed by you. The original act will be forward by courier to you.

5. What are the costs involved?

The government and local taxes for setting up a limited liability company amount to EUR 600. Buy Bulgarian Properties will gladly assist you in preparing all necessary documentation and submitting it to the relevant authorities.

6. Can I rent it when I’m not here?

A property with such a great location only minutes away from the beach can be very easily rented-out starting from early spring to late autumn. Many foreign tourists actually prefer the comfort and privacy of an apartment instead of a hotel room.
